Iago meets Othello and to tell him that Brabantio is extremely unsatisfied the marriage between him and Desdemona, and he already called up his follower to search him. Othello sees a group of men approaching hem, and Iago thinks that’s Brabantio and his followers, so he suggests Othello to leave. But Othello denied because he thinks his perfect is the best justify for himself. However, the people who come is his lieutenant Cassio and officers from the Venetian court. They tell Othello that the state of Cyprus and council was calling him. When Othello leaves and going to court, Iago tells Cassio that Othello is already married. At this instance, the Duke and his follower arrived. When the two groups of people are about to start the conflict, Othello asks them to stops and to let the court judge.
personal reactions
This scene is the first time Othello appeal, and he fully demonstrated his personality. From the conversation with Iago, we can easily find out his loyalty to love. His response to the Duke also reflects his confidence unlike which Iago's arrogant. His reflection after being insulted also showed him that he threat the overall situation as the most important. Meanwhile, as an alien, and even a black man to obtain commander status in Venice,s is enough to prove his extraordinary ability.
Othello 1.2 Activities

Othello is willing to avoid the meaningless argument and desire to use a peaceful way to solve the conflict.

He is royal to the love, so once he got betrayed he’ll be extremely mad. He’s confidence and kindness may also let him be villain plot. In relatively speaking, In his view love must be absolutely loyal, if someone spread rumors about his wife I think he will be very upset.
2. In the opening scenes of the play, the audience soon realizes Iago’s ability to manipulate those around him. Chronicle how Iago is able to use others to harass Othello while appearing innocent. (quotations not needed).

Roderigo wants to marry Desdemona but Desdemona already married with Othello. So Iago just makes Roderigo think they a same plan which is to kill Othello. Thus Roderigo will have chance to marry Desdemona.
